Solidify that connection between you and the trail with the Alma M50 2027 Mountain Bike from Orbea. Feather light in weight and lightning fast whether you’re cornering, climbing or making your way downhill, the Alma M50 features an advanced carbon frame construction with X-Fader technology in the shaped seat tube to absorb fatigue-inducing vibrations, an optimised rear triangle engineered to increase veal compliance, Powerspine in the lower frame that handles the large majority of torsional and lateral loads as well as resisting flex and transferring more watts to your rear wheel and an integrated cockpit for the cleanest lines and improved steering accuracy.
The Alma M50’s geometry has been meticulously designed to achieve that perfect balance between nimble handling and capable descending including a 67 degree headtube for enhanced control on the downhill, a generous wheelbase to keep you stable and a 75.5 degree seat tube to create efficient pedal dynamics, paularly on steep climbs. There’s also a lower standover height to give you more room to move the bike around when sprinting or taking corners.
The Maxxis Rekon Race 2.40″ 29er tyres add more contact with the ground and improve grip over rough, technical surfaces, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide efficient stopping power, no matter the conditions and the 110mm of travel in the RockShox Judy Silver fork smooths out the trail ahead of you. Push your limits whether tackling technical trails or embarking on cross-country sprints with Orbea’s 2027 Alma M50.
Features:
- Alma’s X-Fader Technology removes fatigue-inducing vibrations: a shaped seat tube engineered to absorb energy-sapping vibrations and impacts
- Connected hardtail handling: a perfect mix of nimble handling and capable descending with the added control of the 110m fork
- Three quickly adjustable positions: fully open, pedal platform, and firm lockout – can be selected via the Squidlock or the dial on the fork crown
- 67º headtube offers more control on descents
- General wheelbase for improved stability
- 75.5º seat tube enhances pedal dynamics, especially on steep climbs
- Shorter seat tube leave more seatpost exposed, offering better absorption than a narrower dropper seatpost on a longer seat tube
- Lower standover height gives more space to move the bike side-to-side when sprinting or cornering
- Advanced carbon: a technologically advanced carbon construction to create the best frame possible
- Optimised rear triange: flattened shape of the chainstays and seatstays increase veal compliance
- Flattened tube shapes resist lateral flex, improving power transmission
- Powerspine: lower spine of the frame handles the large majority of torsional and lateral loads, resisting flex and passing more Watts to the rear wheel
- 2.4″ tyre clearance for larger air volume and increase contact area means more grip and a smoother ride
- Integrated cockpit: integrating the handlebar and stem gives the cleanest lines and lowest weight, improves steering accuracy and permits more direct internal cable routing
