• BWD EGR Valve functions to create a small passageway for the exhaust to flow back into the engine – helps reduce Nitrous Oxides (NOx) pollutant from entering into the atmosphere
• EGR valve operates by either applying vacuum to operate a diaphragm with a small amount of exhaust backpressure or electronically with the uses of one or more control solenoids or stepper motors
