Whiteside Machine Company’s Carbide Tipped Boring Bits feature a centering point and two carbide spurs to eliminate tear out. The 35mm diameter bit is widely used for European style cabinet door hinges.  

Use in drill press or boring machine. NOT for use in routers

Whiteside Machine was originally a machine shop, many decades ago. They were machining precision router bodies for a customer. The customer went broke leaving them sitting on the router bodies so they decide to finish them and sell them. This is a realstory of courage, resourcefulness, guts and just plain stubbornness.
