It is a circular aluminum tube with a hinged gate that opens to let the cable and strand pass through, then cloes to provide 360 degree protection. The two mounting bolts are included for mounting the halo onto your lasher. All currentGENERAL MACHINE PRODUCTSlasher models are already drilled and tapped to give you the necessary mounting holes.
