The Mirka Hiolit XO 18 x 48 in. 36 Grit Cloth Wide Sanding Belt is a semi-open, stiff universal abrasive engineered for belt sanding and machine sanding that demands excellent edge wear resistance and long belt life. Built on a polyester cloth backing with a blue-fired aluminum oxide grain bonded resin over resin, this 36-grit belt is suited to rapid stock removal, paint stripping, and leveling rough or rusted surfaces. It uses a durable T joint cut straight through the belt and reinforced on the back, set at an angle to resist chatter and prevent marking the material. Each box contains 5 belts.
